Man, I've been there. tucking your pants into your sock may not seem glamorous, but its better than the alternative.

hells no, I LOVE making other people uncomfortable. You're talking to the winner of the Royal Caribbean Mr. Harry legs AND Mr. Tourist legs 2009

You know...they didn't have any penis based awards. It was weird. You also happen to be talking to the guy that used to hang out naked on the rocks on the shore at Lake Powell just for the tour boats. wait...did I say that out loud?

I will say that cycling leggings are wonderfully comfortable.

Amazing that an unprotected crash at 20-25 mph on a bicycle yields more damage to the body than a crash at 200 mph in a race car.

Holy crap, JWW you had some serious injury. I know you told us about it, but the pictures are incredible. Are you back to 100% yet?

Not back to 100%, but making good progress. The doctor tells me that putting muscle back on takes about 2-3 times longer than it takes to lose it, so, since I was off my feet for 3 months, I guess that gives me 6-9 months to get back to 100%. I am just shy of 2 months into my rehab, so I have a ways to go. My major victory last week was being able to walk *mostly* without a limp. My next goal is to be able to walk up/down stairs like a normal person.

I know that problem. I broke 4 ribs back in December. I am still trying to get the strength back. Your body consumes muscle tissue when healing like a teenager consumes Big Macs. Well, at least you have the advantage of more youth than I.
How is the pregnancy going? Well, I hope.

Wow, that's a lot of scaffolding. Is it just me, or does the bit on the right look like a drawing of a cock with three balls?

Ha, I hadn't thought of that, but yes. Yes it does. MonkeyPuzzle , on the other hand, makes a pretty convincing case that it looks like a praying mantis. He even went so far as to animate it for me:
